The Faculty of Economics has partnership agreements with universities in various countries. Our partner universities are listed below by country. University-wide cooperations with universities in Asia, Latin America, North America, New Zealand and Australia can be found under Leibniz University International Programs on the page of the University Office for International Affairs

Prerequisites for participation
  • To be enrolled in the B.Sc./ M.Sc. or industrial engineer B.Sc./ M.Sc.
  • At least a good knowledge of the lecture’s language (e.g., English or Spanish)
  • Personal motivation, open-mindedness and independence
  • A good to an above average academic performance 
  • So far, a proper completion of the course of studies 
  • Integrability to study´s program

Application Deadlines


The application deadline for the faculty's exchange programs during the academic year 2021/22 (WS 21/22 and SoSe 2022) is January 31, 2021.

  • The order of the preferred universities must be identical to the information on the cover sheet

  • Attention: Applicants from the first master’s semester please submit a copy of the bachelor’s certificate including the final grade instead

  • Information based on the courses offered by the partner universities from previous corresponding semesters

Also note:

  • Please submit your applications on time and in full.
  • Applications will be processed as soon as possible after the application deadline. Acceptances and rejections are sent to all applicants by email. 
  • Important: Please make sure that you enter a valid email address in your application! We cannot consider applications without a valid email address.
