The School of Economics and Management adopted its first strategy paper to promote internationalization in teaching and research. The strategy aims to contribute to strengthen the School’s profile by pooling, focusing and expanding its current and future activities and measures in teaching and research. More in detail, students may improve their qualification via a more internationally oriented study programme (i.e. providing more modules in English language; opportunity to study abroad; summer schools). International students are to be better integrated by providing mentoring, intercultural lectures and seminars to eventually improve their results and performance. Hence, the School is expected to become a more attractive place for highly qualified applicants. At the same time, the School of Economics and Management aims at increasing its visibility and transparency (e.g. in terms of its international publication record). It is also dedicated to becoming an attractive future platform for academic discussions in a very open-minded environment. A monitoring will make sure that the School successfully implements its strategy.
