Professor Ulrike Grote visiting Tbilisi, Georgia

Professor Ulrike Grote, Director of the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade and Member of the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU), visited the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), which is one of our partner institutions.

In June 2019, Professor Ulrike Grote, Director of the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade of the School of Economics and Management and member of the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU), was invited for a guest lecture by two institutions in Tbilisi, Georgia. One of the institutions was the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), which is one of our partner institutions. Professor Grote gave a lecture on the topic "Digitalization: Opportunities and Risks for Sustainability".

She also visited the Faculty of Economics and Business, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Besides the guest lecture on the same topic, she took part in meetings in which perspectives of cooperation were discussed.

We are excited about the international cooperation between Georgia and our faculty and we are looking forward to future activities!
